Arkadelphia Arkansas Chicken received CPR Chick_em.wmv
This is about a lady who lives in Arkadelphia, AR. She gave CPR to a chicken and was recently on the Tonight Show, same night Terry Bradshaw was on the show. Never has anyone had more fun and laughs than Bradshaw on this clip. If you need a good laugh, this will do it, I promise!!! Be sure to watch Bradshaw, too. Also, be sure your sound is on. This is too funny for words. The lady is a born comic and Terry Bradshaw's reaction is worth watching!

Jackie Calhoun of Arkadelphia, Arkansas is that man. ... She attempted mouth to mouth resuscitation and CPR. After a few minutes, the chicken responded.
Do you like putting chicken in your mouth? I do but only after it has been appropriately killed, butchered and cooked. I wouldn't put a dead chicken in my mouth until it is ready to serve on my table. But one guy would disagree with that opinion. Jackie Calhoun of Arkadelphia, Arkansas is that man. He arrived home for lunch to find his pet chicken, Boo-Boo drowned in a big puddle. He and his wife attempted to revive the chicken to no avail but thankfully, Jackie's sister, an ex-nurse, happened by the homestead. She attempted mouth to mouth resuscitation and CPR. After a few minutes, the chicken responded. The bird is apparently doing fine now. There was no word on what the Calhoun's ate for dinner that night.

Kelso: I refuse to believe this is a real story, and prefer to think that CNN.com was duped. The last paragraph is my favorite, although I also like the bit about the chicken's eyes popping open:
Kiss of life makes Boo Boo the chicken better
ARKADELPHIA, Arkansas (AP) — This chicken had lips, just not her own.
A retired nurse saved her brother's chicken, Boo Boo, by administering mouth-to-beak resuscitation last week after the fowl was found floating face down in the family's pond.
Marian Morris said she hadn't had any practice with CPR in years, but she was interested to see if she "still had it."
"I breathed into its beak, and its dadgum eyes popped open," Morris said. "I breathed into its beak again, and its eyes popped open again. I said, 'I think this chicken's alive now. Keep it warm."'
She said she did not know how to find a pulse on a chicken.
Boo Boo's owners, Jackie and Becky Calhoun, put her in a large cardboard box containing a grain feeder and water. They also placed a heater nearby.
The chicken is called Boo Boo because she is easily frightened. The Calhouns thought Boo Boo was startled and flopped into the pond.
