Mrs. Mildred Cauley Elias, age 68 of Lyons, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at her home after an extended illness. She was a native of Treutlen County; living in Savannah most of her life, and has resided in Lyons since 1984. She was a homemaker, a member of the Lyons Church of God, and was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Elias, a son, Merrill Danny Campbell, and her parents, Vic and Lavada Smith Cauley.
Mrs. Elias is survived by a nephew, Gene Garner of Lyons, a brother, Herman Talmadge Cauley of Lyons, one step-daughter, Lori Ann Elias of Savannah, two step-sons, Chuck Elias of Charleston, South Carolina and Mike Elias of California, two grandchildren, Lavada and Jennifer Campbell of Reidsville, and many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 18th at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Gooden officiating. Interment will follow on Saturday, June 19th at 10:00 am in Hillcrest Abby West Cemetery, 1336 Dean Forest Road in Savannah.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service Friday evening.
