Survivors: daughters, Mary Ann Thompson, Wanda Thompson, Shelby Davis and Martha Connell; sons, Mark Eugene Thompson and Robert Lamar Thompson, and other relatives. Mrs. Adelle Connell Thompson Kersey, age 66 of Vidalia, died Sunday, April 11, 2010 in Vidalia after an extended illness. She was a lifelong resident of Toombs County, a homemaker, and attended the North Thompson Baptist Church.
Mrs. Kersey is survived by four daughters, Mary Ann Thompson of Vidalia; Wanda Thompson of Glennville; Shelby Davis of Charleston, South Carolina; and Martha Connell of Vidalia, two sons, Mark Eugene Thompson and Robert Lamar Thompson both of Vidalia, three sisters, Brenda Smith of Lyons; Frances Bradham of Vidalia; and Annette Teague of Vidalia, one brother, Ronnie Connell of Claxton, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, April 16th at 2:00 pm in the Cedar Crossing Cemetery with Reverend Henry Dowd officiating.
